A net patching needle

A mega patching needle, made as a reminder that the wooden netting needles were used before, custom made by a local carpenter. In the past, only wooden needles were used for patching nets, as opposed to today's plastic and metal ones. There used to be 5 needleworkers in the village whose primary activity was making needles. The last one stopped working in 2020.
