OUR RESTAURANT

With excellent knowledge of preparing delicious traditional dishes from top quality fresh and local ingredients, we decided to open the doors of our house and proudly host visitors of Kali, and give them the opportunity to taste every dish we can prepare.
The main ingredients we use in the preparation of dishes are fish, vegetables and olive oil, and seeing as we are proud and well-known fishermen, who could prepare fish better than we can?
We grow some of the vegetables ourselves, and if they aren't coming from our own garden they are purchased from other family - owned farms in our region (the islands of Ugljan and Pašman and the surroundings of Zadar). The olive oil we use is exclusively, painstakingly produced by our family, from olive trees in the area of Kali.
We have dishes on our menu that always must be offered because they are an indispensable part of our tradition, and the ingredients are available at all times throughout the year. Our classics dishes are:

A large part of the menu depends on seasonality, because we have to have local and fresh ingredients. When it comes to fish, the dishes depend on the local fishermen's catch. Blue fish are caught when there is no strong moonlight, and when the weather is weak there are no fish at all. Except for the dried fish, which is always available until we cook all of it for our guests!
